Enjoy your eternal rest Gangee

Today I fondly remember my dearly departed paternal grandmother who I knew as “Gangee”.  She departed planet earth 40 years ago today en route to her Heavenly Father for eternal rest.

Her special love for me contributed to the self-esteem I have this day that I first became aware of one day when looking at myself in a mirror.

Thanks to her, this aging middle-aged man – on a good day – still sees a 16-year old kid when looking in a mirror.

May perpetual light shine on her soul and may her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace Amen.

Enjoy your eternal rest Gangee.

Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum
