This middle-aged man will ignore

The latest health news is about how government advisors now recommend that all adults should be regularly screened for depression.

Yes, you read this right, all adults and that includes all middle-aged men.

Further details can be found at the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force website.

This recommendation is one this middle-aged man will ignore.

Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum

Do they screen for this before or after they ask how many firearms your household has, and where they are kept?.

The Affordable Care Act already has patient records, which use to be housed in office for 10-15 years(then destroyed), are now being sent instantly(digital) to DC.

I am 68 yrs old. I have had Medicare for 3 years. I keep getting reminders to get screened for various diseases. Also reminders of flu shots. I have not had any tests done nor received any flu shots. My health is still good. However my 2 friends did have the tests and the flu shots. Not only did they get the flu but had many false positives they had to be retested for(and not covered by Medicare). They had the anxiety of thinking they were sick as well as the financial burden of the additional tests.
